Paolo Kana' is an Italian DJ from a town in central Italy, on the Adriatic coast, San Benedetto del Tronto. Real name Paolo Marcanio, he has been a DJ since 1988, when he started in a local private radio, L'Altra Radio, and later playing records in his hometown clubs, Atlantide, Tiffany's. He has played in almost all the most important clubs in his area, with some appearances on the Romagna Riviera, especially in the 90s, and also abroad, in various events in Brussels, playing alongside with Junior Jack, Kid Creme and Antoine Clamaran . Atlantide, La Terrazza, Verbena, BB DiscoDinner, Rat Pack, Viniles, Fronte del Porto, Crazy Bull, Fruit & Salad, Buozzi Cafe, Terrazza Carducci, Lido del Pescatore, are some of the places in his area where he was resident Dj. He was a guest, among others, at the ECU and Barafonda in Rimini, Flexus and Bounty in Porto San Giorgio, Magika in Pescara, Cibivacco in Ovindoli, Incontri House Club in Ascoli Piceno, Kontiki in San Benedetto del Tronto. His favorite genre is House Music, with its deep, tech, funky and nu disco offshoots. Some of his reference djs are Dj Ralf, Massimino Lippoli, Tony Humphries, Luciano, Jamie Jones, while some of his favorite labels are Defected, Classic Music, Glitterbox, Real Tone, Z Records, Soulfuric, Freerange. His equipment consists of the Denon MCX8000 and he is comfortable with any Pioneer or Denon products Actually he is resident Dj at Boka, in San Benedetto del Tronto, with appereances, this Summer, in places like Viniles and Karma Beach. He also took part, in September 2022, in the first Ibiza Stardust Radio Resident Party, held at The Hub in Ibiza He also does his own weekly mixshow, called Positive Vibes, which is regularly broadcast by Deep Dance Radio Amsterdam, Ibiza Stardust Radio and Viniles Radio. In 2021 he also released a track on Four Trax Records, Paolo Kanà - Wait Forever, in which he availed himself of the collaboration of another important DJ of his area, Cinols.
